Music is the soundtrack to Life.
About Me
Welcome to Piano Philosophies!
I am classically-trained through the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and completed extensive examinations in both Practical and Theory (1-10). I enjoy classical music, jazz, gospel, and r&b, though I acknowledge the beauty in all music, as all is an amalgamation of all, to me. I attended Cawthra Park Secondary in the Greater Toronto Area, where I majored in Music as a French Horn Instrumentalist, and in 2017, accepted my first teaching position in Toronto, before venturing off to post-secondary at Carleton University. I currently act as a permanent in-person teacher to several dedicated students ages 4 to 71 in Ottawa, Canada and put all my effort into curating each lesson for each student. Both Toronto and Ottawa are home, and online lessons provide the ability to flexibly transpire my love for teaching, regardless of where I may be.
As a Philosophy major, I’m immensely grateful for the knowledge my degree has equipped me with—further deepening the relations I have with others, myself, and the world. As an aspiring lawyer, both philosophy and piano have gifted me with passion, that I will use within my pursuit of obtaining my JD, as a driving force for justice, love, and commitment.
I am thrilled to welcome you to the beauty and joy of piano and music through my love of teaching!
